If so, we are looking for you to join our Board of Directors!
We are currently recruiting to fill two (2) Associate Member Director positions, which are reserved for organizations or individuals who are interested in furthering the work of child welfare and may be connected to the broader child welfare community such as children’s mental health, justice, education, and/or those with lived experience. We are looking for creative thinkers, with experience advocating for change, pushing challenging issues forward, and keeping children and youth at the centre of decision-making. We are prioritizing applicants from First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities, as well as African, Black and Caribbean Canadians, and other culturally diverse communities. We are also recruiting two board members who are currently serving as board members of a local child welfare agency. Vacancies will be filled based on identified gaps in skills, expertise, and cultural diversity.
