OACAS is an association representing 49 member organizations. Of these, 47 are mandated Children’s Aid Societies and Indigenous Child and Family Well-Being Agencies and two are pre-mandated Indigenous agencies.
On behalf of our membership, OACAS provides advocacy and government relations, public education, training, information and knowledge management, and communications services. OACAS is governed by a voluntary board of directors. OACAS works with member agencies, community and provincial partners, and government to support positive change to the Ontario child welfare system.
